About Yunnan Provincial Museum
Yunnan Provincial Museum is located at No. 6393 Guangfu Road, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. It covers an area of 150 acres, a construction area of 60,000 square meters, and an exhibition hall area of 16,500 square meters. Since its establishment, it has taken the protection and inheritance of excellent historical culture as its own responsibility, and collected documents It is the largest cultural relic collection unit in Yunnan Province. It is also the largest and most powerful research institution and cultural relic appraisal institution for movable cultural relics in Yunnan Province. It is the largest comprehensive museum in Yunnan Province. In July of the second year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty (1911), the Yunnan Library was renamed "Yunnan Library and Museum". In July of the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), the "Yunnan Library and Museum" was split into two.
