About Dali Rural Film History Museum
Dali Rural Film History Museum, also known as Dali Prefecture Film Archives, is a state-owned industry museum located at No. 459 Fuxing Road, Dali Ancient Town, Dali City, Yunnan Province. It was officially opened on April 17, 2011. It is the first thematic rural film history museum in China and the first thematic film museum in Yunnan Province. The museum was rebuilt on the basis of the original Dali Cinema, covering an area of more than 1,700 square meters, and adheres to the principle of "repairing the old as before". Its functions include collecting, protecting, researching and displaying Dali's rural film and cultural heritage, and it has tens of thousands of film films, projectors, posters and other collections.
