About Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall
Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall, a national first-class museum, is located in No. 1, Hongfeng Road, Haidian District, Beijing, next to Xiangshan Park. The memorial hall covers an area of 2.4 hectares and has a construction area of 17,985 square meters. Construction started in April 2018 and was officially opened to the public on September 13, 2019. The main building adopts the new Chinese style, retaining the two-axis layout. In order to protect the ancient trees, the entire building was moved 5 meters eastward. A 19.49-meter flag pole was set up in the south square to symbolize the founding of New China in 1949.
