About Wulituo Folk Custom Exhibition Hall in West Beijing

Wulituo Folk Custom Exhibition Hall in West Beijing is located in Wulituo Village, Shijingshan District, Beijing. It is a folk custom exhibition hall built on the basis of a courtyard complex with green bricks and gray tiles. The museum was renovated on the site of the Wang Family Courtyard, which was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. The original site consisted of five courtyards and more than 60 houses. It is the largest existing traditional building complex in Wulituo Village. During the development and construction of the western part of Shijingshan District in 2009, the local government integrated and renovated the Wang Family Courtyard and the Qian Family Courtyard (originally located in Heishou Village) to form an exhibition hall complex covering an area of 8,000 square meters.
