About Qijiang Museum
Qijiang Museum is located in No. 3 Farm Village, Gunan Street, Qijiang County, Chongqing City. It covers an area of 9,967 square meters and a building area of 3,350 square meters. It is a local comprehensive museum. In December 1998, Qijiang Museum was officially opened. The main displays include the "Shimen Temple Stone Carvings Exhibition Hall", "Qijiang History and Culture Exhibition Hall", "Geology Exhibition Hall", "Korean Provisional Government in Qijiang Exhibition Hall", etc. As of the end of 2019, the Qijiang Museum has a collection of 622 pieces/set, including 4 pieces at the national second level and 135 pieces at the third level. According to information from the State Administration of Cultural Heritage in 2022, there are currently 624 collections/sets and 49,200 visitors. In December 2020, Qijiang Museum was announced as the fourth batch of national third-level museums.
