About The former site of the Korean Liberation Army Headquarters
At the intersection of Zou Rong Road near the Liberation Monument, there is a gray-white, simple and solemn brick and wood structure building. This is the former site of the General Headquarters of the Korean Liberation Army. On December 18, 2014, the government of the People's Republic of China summoned relevant personnel from the South Korean Embassy in China and stated that in view of South Korea's request and the friendly relations between South Korea and China, Chongqing decided to preserve the former site of the South Korean Liberation Army Headquarters in its original location, and the central government of the People's Republic of China approved it. China also stated that since this is a work promoted by China, the costs required for this work will be borne by China.
