About Gansu Slip Museum

Gansu Bamboo Slips Museum, a national first-class museum, is located on Matan Cultural Island, Qilihe District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, with a total construction area of about 37,000 square meters. It is the thematic museum with the largest collection of Han bamboo slips in China and a national first-class public welfare thematic museum. The treasures of the town hall include the "Four Seasons and Monthly Orders", "Guochang Luohou's Expenses Book" and mileage slips. The exterior design of the building draws on the concept of "simplified" on the left and "slip" on the right, and extracts cultural symbols from architectural elements of the Han Dynasty. The Gansu Bamboo Bamboo Bamboo Slips Museum can be traced back to the Han Bamboo Bamboo Bamboo Slips Compilation Research Office of the Gansu Provincial Museum established in the 1970s.
