Fang Guoyu's former residence is located at No. 32 Wenzhi Lane, Wuyi Street, Lijiang Old Town, a world cultural heritage. It covers an area of 1.98 acres and has a construction area of 1,473.2 square meters. It was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 200 years. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Yunnan Province. It is a representative of Naxi architectural features and the absorption of foreign cultural buildings. It is the best-preserved, most complete, and most historically valuable example of residential buildings in Lijiang Old Town.
