About Zhou Baozhong's former residence

The former residence of Zhou Baozhong (also known as the Memorial Hall of General Zhou Baozhong) is located in Wanqiao Village, Wanqiao Town, Dali City, Yunnan Province. It is now a Yunnan Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit and is managed by the Dali Cultural Relics Protection Management Office. The original building of the former residence was destroyed by fire in 1954. It was rebuilt on the original site in 1994 and covers an area of 16.9 acres. It contains 16 construction projects such as showrooms, statues, and simulated former residences. Among them, the life story exhibition room displays 120 historical pictures and more than 90 real objects, including 8 national cultural relics. The exhibition room was upgraded and renovated in 1998. In 2012, it was renamed the General Zhou Baozhong Memorial Hall in commemoration of the 110th anniversary of Zhou Baozhong’s birth.
