About The 1911 Revolution Museum (North Wing)
The 1911 Revolution Museum is a first-class public welfare institution located in Wuhan City. It was established in July 2022 by the merger of the 1911 Revolution Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall and the 1911 Revolution Museum. The institute is divided into two areas, the north and the south, covering an area of 42,000 square meters, with an exhibition hall area of 12,000 square meters and a collection of 35,000 cultural relics/set (including 512 precious cultural relics/set). It is now a national patriotism education demonstration base, a national first-class museum and a 4A-level tourist attraction. Its predecessor, the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of the Revolution of 1911, was built on the former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government (the "Red Mansion"). In 1981, Soong Ching Ling inscribed the museum's name.
