About Jiaxing Science and Technology Museum
Jiaxing Science and Technology Museum is located at No. 471 Youyi Street, Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. It was officially opened to the public in September 1997. It covers an area of 9,900 square meters and a building area of 6,700 square meters, including an exhibition hall area of 2,400 square meters. The main body of the building is divided into two floors. The exhibition hall covers multiple disciplines such as physics, biology, and information technology, and is equipped with modern technology display projects such as a VR/AR experience area and a simulated cockpit of the Shenzhou spacecraft. As a purely public welfare institution, the venue takes science education as its core function and implements a free admission system. The daily opening hours are from 9:00 to 16:30 from Wednesday to Sunday. Reservations are required through the WeChat official account.
