About Tianfei Palace Ruins Museum of Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties

The Tianfei Palace Ruins Museum of the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties is located at No. 51, Dazhigu Middle Road, Hedong District, Tianjin. It is a national second-level museum, a national key cultural relics protection unit and a Tianjin patriotism education base. It covers an area of 5,800 square meters and a building area of more than 3,000 square meters. It was officially opened to the public on May 1, 2002. The museum is built based on the architectural foundations of the Yuan Dynasty and the foundations of the Ming and Qing palaces. It has permanent exhibitions displaying maritime culture, Mazu beliefs, urban development and archaeological sites. It is a heritage museum that condenses the formation and development of Tianjin city. The collection includes cultural relics such as column statues and architectural components from past dynasties.
