About Tang Shengzhi Mansion
Tang Shengzhi Mansion is located at No. 263 Juzizhou, Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It was built in 1926 by Tang Shengzhi, then chairman of the Hunan Provincial Government. It is a two-story Chinese and Western style mansion. The building is in the shape of a curved plane, with an octagonal roof, an elevated floor and an air-raid shelter. The lower part of the exterior wall is built with granite as the wall base, and the upper part is made of mixed materials. The exterior windows are equipped with sunshades and are equipped with fireplaces and other facilities. The total construction area is 653 square meters. The mansion was originally the residence of Tang Shengzhi, with the title "This is our house for the time being". It served as an important decision-making place for cooperation with the National Revolutionary Army during the Northern Expedition.
