About Xishan District Dianchi Museum
Xishan District Dianchi Museum is located in Longjiang Park (Huixin Road), Wangjiang Road, Xishan District, Kunming City. The museum is a museum developed using the "Chen Family Garden", a district-level cultural relic protection unit, with an exhibition hall area of 1,700 square meters. With "Natural Dianchi" and "Humanistic Dianchi" as the main lines, the natural resources, history, culture and ecological landscape of Dianchi are systematically displayed through pictures, texts, objects, videos and biological specimens. The cultural relics in the collection include representative cultural relics such as Siemens electric motors, Garuda, and the golden rooster that replaced the East and West temple towers.
