About Ma Ruji Residence
The Ma Ruji Courtyard was built in the 30th year of the Republic of China (1941) by Ma Ruji, a Guotou man from Malaysia. The courtyard faces north and faces south, covering an area of about 1,280 square meters and a construction area of 2,600 square meters. It is composed of three courtyards: the North Courtyard, the South Courtyard and the West Courtyard. They are interconnected and can form independent courtyards. The north courtyard and the south courtyard are Ma Ruji's residences. They are two courtyards with four courtyards and five courtyards and three squares and one screen wall, forming a six-spring pattern, showing the characteristics of "one blockhouse, two courtyards, three gates, four pavilions, five halls and six patios". There is a turret on the east side of the hall, with a total of four floors.
