About Zhou Xiaoyan Memorial Room
The Zhou Xiaoyan Memorial Room is located in Cangbai Garden, East Lake Tingtao Scenic Area, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It is a memorial place established to commemorate Zhou Xiaoyan, the famous coloratura soprano singer and music educator in modern China. The memorial room was completed and opened in 2017. After the upgrade was completed on March 8, 2018, it was reopened to the public as the first batch of key cultural landscapes in the third phase of the East Lake Greenway. The memorial room displays a large number of precious exhibits such as the piano, clothing, and photos used by Zhou Xiaoyan during his lifetime. Its exhibition design combines artistic expression with modern technological means. It has an interactive device called "Yan Sound Box" for visitors, where you can listen to the original sounds of songs such as "Ballad of the Great Wall" sung by Zhou Xiaoyan.
