About Jingdezhen Ceramic Industry Heritage Museum
Jingdezhen Ceramic Industry Heritage Museum is located in Taoxichuan Creative District, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province. It is a ceramic industry themed museum renovated from the old kiln building of the original Universe Porcelain Factory. It was officially opened in October 2016. The museum retains industrial relics such as coal-fired round kilns and tunnel kilns, and displays the development history of Jingdezhen's ceramic industry from 1909 to 2010 through documents, objects and video exhibits. It covers archives of 69,000 porcelain workers, oral histories of 391 workers, and hand models of "two bombs and one star". It is also displayed through four exhibition areas including "Blue Road, Restoration and Development". In 2017, it won the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Conservation Innovation Award.
