About Dunhuang Art Museum
The Dunhuang Art Museum is located at No. 522 Nanbinhe East Road, Chengguan District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province (in the office area of the Dunhuang Academy). It is an art exhibition hall with science popularization characteristics. It is the display platform and science popularization base of the Mogao Grottoes in Lanzhou, and is a research classroom for universities, middle schools and primary schools. The Dunhuang Art Museum was built in 2008 and will reopen in January 2022 after upgrading and renovation. As of May 2024, the Dunhuang Art Museum covers an area of 1,942 square meters and has two exhibition halls.
