About Wen Yiduo and Zhu Ziqing’s former residence
The former residence of Wen Yiduo and Zhu Ziqing, which is also the former site of the Institute of Liberal Arts of Tsinghua University, is located at No. 61 Sijiaying (formerly No. 17), Panlong District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. It was a private house that Wen Yiduo and Zhu Ziqing rented during the Anti-Japanese War. The former residence of Wen Yiduo and Zhu Ziqing covers an area of about 370 square meters. It is an ordinary residential building with three rooms and two ears "one seal" in the suburbs of Kunming. "Three rooms and two ears" means that there are three main rooms facing the main door, and two wing rooms on both sides. The building above the door is called "inverted seat". All are two-story buildings. The houses on all sides form a small patio.
