About Yunnan Museum of traditional Chinese Medicine
The Yunnan Provincial Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ethnic Medicine is the only provincial-level professional museum of traditional medicine in Yunnan Province. It is located on the campus of Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chenggong New Town, Kunming City. The building is a Dai-style courtyard structure with a total construction area of 4651.59 square meters. The museum focuses on the display of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine culture. It houses more than 2,000 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine specimens, more than 1,000 kinds of ethnic medicine specimens, more than 10,000 wax leaf specimens, more than 60 ancient books, and more than 200 medical cultural relics and objects, including national treasures.
