About Leping City Museum
Leping City Museum is a comprehensive state-owned museum located at No. 1 Dongfeng North Road, Dalian New District, Leping City, Jiangxi Province. It was established in 1984. In 1992, it was renamed due to the removal of the county and the establishment of a city. In August 2024, it was rated as a national second-level museum. It covers an area of 10 acres, a construction area of 4,803 square meters, and an exhibition hall area of nearly 3,000 square meters. The museum collects more than 1,000 pieces/set of cultural relics and 101 pieces/set of precious cultural relics, including Yuan Dynasty representative collections such as red jade pots with rabbit and bamboo patterns under glaze, green and white glazed melon-edge holding pots. Its predecessor was the Leping County Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall established in 1976.
