About Datong County Museum

The Datong County Museum is located in Daitongzhuang Village, Shuobei Tibetan Township, Datong County, Xining City, Qinghai Province. It will be opened for trial operation on July 13, 2023. The museum covers a total area of 33 acres, with a construction area of 4,579.15 square meters, an exhibition area of 3,475 square meters, and a collection of 453 sets of 1,200 cultural relics, including 1 first-class cultural relic and 2 second-class cultural relics. There are three theme exhibition halls in the museum: the first exhibition hall systematically displays the history and culture of Datong, the second exhibition hall presents the folk culture of Hehuang area, and the third exhibition hall focuses on the development achievements of the county.
