About Xingmei Town Film and Television Base
Xingmei Town Film and Television Base is located in Yangsong Town, Huairou District, Beijing. It was formerly known as Feiteng Film and Television City. It was settled and established by Taiwan Feiteng Production Co., Ltd. in 1995. It was officially completed and put into use in 1997. It is the largest film and television program location and post-production base in northern China. In 2001, Xingmei Media became the controlling shareholder, and the management was formerly known as Feiteng Production Co., Ltd., which was changed to Xingmei Jinsheng Film and Television City Management Co., Ltd. on November 7, 2011. The base mainly imitates the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including Ming and Qing street scenes, Jiangnan water towns, northern towns, imperial gardens and other landscapes. The building components are all made of logs using ancient methods.
