About Dongba Kingdom

Dongba Kingdom is a cultural tourist attraction located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It is 12 kilometers away from the ancient city of Lijiang and covers an area of 160 acres. It is one of the main landscapes of Lijiang Dayulong Tourist Scenic Area. Together with Yushui Village and Yufeng Temple, it is also known as the "Three Jade and Three East". The scenic spot takes Naxi Dongba culture as the core, and presents the cultural concept of harmonious coexistence between the Naxi people and nature through three-dimensional display of Dongba hieroglyphic walls, sacred road maps and other carriers. The scenic spot is composed of two parts: the Dongba culture and the ancient Naxi ancestors' villages, including the Hieroglyphics Square, the Five Grain Bridge, the Gate Area·Wand, and the Naxi Culture Totem Square.
