About Lijiang Wilderness Country Scenic Area
Lijiang Wilderness Country Scenic Area is located on the north side of Xueshan Art Town, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It opened on June 1, 2021. It was built by artist Qiao Xiaodao using waste materials. The park has expanded from the initial few acres to 140 acres, including hundreds of art buildings such as Warrior Wild Grass Collection, Leaking Rain Art Museum, and Treehouse Cafe. The scenic spot features movable houses, equipped with vinyl record playback equipment and parent-child interactive devices, and receives more than 30,000 tourists annually. In September 2025, the scenic spot will hold an Art Torch Festival. In October of the same year, the scenic spot caused public controversy due to some art sculptures. Subsequently, the controversial works were dismantled and rectified and a public apology was issued.
