About Yunnan Safari Park
Yunnan Wildlife Park is located in Jindian National Forest Park, Panlong District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, 7 kilometers away from Kunming City. Yunnan Wildlife Park was opened to the public on May 1, 2004, covering an area of 2,800 acres. It is a new tourist attraction in Yunnan Province that focuses on the domestication, breeding, viewing, and display of wild animals and integrates sightseeing, popular science education, and ex-situ conservation. The Yunnan Wildlife Park has the theme of showing Yunnan's "Animal Kingdom". It raises more than 200 species and more than 10,000 animals, including giraffes, rhinos, giant pandas and many other rare animals. Yunnan Wildlife Park is now a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a Kunming environmentally friendly science park, and a Panlong District wildlife science demonstration base.
