About Xining Panda House

Xining Panda House is the highest single panda house in China and the largest in the country. The venue is located in Xining Wildlife Park, with a total area of 9,000 square meters and a construction area of 4,617 square meters. It was officially opened on June 16, 2019. It currently houses four giant pandas "Hexing", "Yuanman", "Shuangxin" and "Qiguo" from the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. In February 2023, it was selected as a national popular science education base. The museum started construction in April 2018. It is designed with the theme of "One Belt, One Road" and is equipped with facilities such as fog forest system and bamboo preservation warehouse. After the opening, the venue's functions were extended through birthday parties, popular science lectures and other activities, and by June 2020, it had received more than 500,000 tourists.
