About Ask the rooftop

Wentian Terrace is located in the Dehang Grand Canyon Scenic Area in Aizhai Town, Jishou City, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province. It is a natural stone viewing platform in the Yuquan River Canyon and requires walking to the top. Its name comes from Qu Yuan's "Tian Wen". According to legend, Qu Yuan passed through this place during his exile and climbed to the stone platform to ask questions to the sky for three days and nights. Later, he compiled the questions into "Tian Wen". The cloud and mist landscape with deep mountain ravines and steep peaks is known as "Utopia hidden deep in the white clouds". The stone platform is composed of a natural platform on the top of an independent stone peak. Visitors can quickly reach it by hiking for about 1.5 hours through the Dehang Grand Canyon or purchasing the Aizhai Bridge package.
