Madame Tussauds Shanghai is located on the 10th floor of New World City, No. 2-68 Nanjing West Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai. It opened on May 1, 2006. It is the sixth Madame Tussauds in the world and the first Madame Tussauds in mainland China. The museum has seven theme exhibition areas: "Behind the Scenes", "Shanghai Charm", "Historical Celebrities and National Leaders", "Movies", "Music", "Sports" and "Speed", as well as special exhibition areas such as Music Dream Factory and FASHION Fashion Zone, covering more than 80 wax figures of domestic and foreign stars such as Audrey Hepburn, Yao Ming, Liu Xiang, Leslie Cheung, Feng Shaofeng, Li Yuchun and others.
