About Hefei-Kurume Art Gallery
Hefei-Kurume Friendship Art Museum is a public art museum located at No. 6 Huancheng East Road, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is located on the bank of Xiaoyaojin Lake. The architecture combines Huizhou and Japanese styles. The core functions of the museum are calligraphy and painting creation, research and exhibition, and its legal representative is Gu Hui. In 2022, the museum will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its opening and the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan. As an art venue for friendly exchanges between China and Japan, it assumes the responsibility for cultural exchanges. The museum has held activities such as the China-Japan Friendship Youth Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition. In 2024, the art museum will start a maintenance and renovation project.
