About Wuhan Art Museum (Qintai Hall)
Wuhan Art Museum (Qintai Museum) is a public art venue in the Qintai Central Art and Culture Zone, Hanyang District, Wuhan City, with a total construction area of 43,000 square meters. It was officially put into use on December 28, 2022. The museum has one underground floor and two above-ground floors, and contains four functional spaces: ancient/modern/contemporary/special exhibition halls. It features the largest single civil building made of fair-faced concrete in China and the world's first landscape-style complex hyperboloid fair-faced concrete building. The building was designed by Shanghai Dashe Architectural Office and other teams, using BIM technology to achieve precise construction of 30,000 dense rib beams. The roof has a "silver terrace" structure that blends with the natural landscape of Yuehu Lake.
