About Hyundai Motor Culture Center
Hyundai Motorstudio Beijing is a cultural institution established by South Korea's Hyundai Motor. It is located at No. E-1, 798 Art District, Beijing. It officially opened on November 1, 2017. The institution is positioned as a cross-border experimental base for automobile culture and art, with "Creative Energy" as its core curatorial concept, covering art exhibitions, public projects and educational facilities. The Hyundai Blue Prize China Young Curator Award has been established since 2017 to cultivate curators on themes such as "Resonant City" and "Subversion of the Future". The winners include Li Jia, Chen Baoyang, etc. The center has established cooperation with international institutions such as the National Museum of Modern Art of Korea and Tate Modern, and has established similar cultural experience centers in Seoul, Moscow, Henan and other places around the world.
