About Yanjingtai
Yanjing Terrace is an ecological observation deck located on Dongtu Mountain in Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park, Fengtai District, Beijing. It has a total height of 59 meters. Its design is inspired by the wings of wild geese and combines traditional pitched roof styles with modern construction technology. The building will be officially opened on May 1, 2024. It is equipped with a 360-degree viewing gallery and rooftop viewing steps for walking. It has become an internet celebrity check-in spot overlooking the panoramic views of Beijing's cityscape and parks. Its name comes from the observation tower culture in the royal hunting grounds of the Qing Dynasty. After its opening, Yanjingtai quickly became popular due to its unique experience of "watching the sunset on the rooftop", receiving over 10,000 tourists on peak days.
