About Blue Zoo Beijing 4
Fuguo Underwater World (Blue Zoo Beijing) is a marine aquarium located at the south gate of the Workers' Stadium in Chaoyang District, Beijing. It was jointly built by China and New Zealand and is the first five-star aquarium in Beijing. It has the longest acrylic underwater tunnel in Asia, displays sharks, rays and other species, and operates with "education, entertainment, and environmental responsibility" as its business purpose. The museum is equipped with an undersea tunnel, an undersea classroom, an ocean gift shop and a barrier-free passage. Special projects such as human-shark dancing and mermaid performances are performed regularly every day. The museum popularizes marine knowledge through activities such as theme lectures and donating popular science books, and cooperates with schools to organize immersive study practices.
