About Heishuiyang Art Museum
Heishuiyang Art Museum is a Jiaodong fisherman style art museum located on the east side of the Wangjiacun Shipyard in Huancui District, Weihai City, Shandong Province. Its main body was transformed from an old oyster and abalone breeding pond, retaining original ecological elements such as oyster shells on the walls and traces of seawater soaking, and integrating the unique Jiaodong fisherman style. The Heishuiyang Sketching Base to which it belongs was founded by Li Hai in 2018. The museum has a permanent exhibition of marine-themed works by local Weihai oil painters, as well as red cultural souvenirs, Laozi wood carvings, Ming and Qing porcelain and other collections collected by the person in charge, Li Hai.
