About Power Station Art Museum
The Power Plant Art Museum is a rural art museum located in Yuzishan Village, Shandongzhuang Town, Pinggu District, Beijing. Its predecessor was an idle power distribution station in the village. It was renovated and opened to the public for the first time on July 20, 2023. The renovation project was led by a team of teachers from the School of Art and Design of the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Li Weijun, and students participated in the design and construction throughout the process. The renovation project lasted more than 4 months. On the opening day, a licensing ceremony for the off-campus practice base of the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology was held, and the first exhibition was the "Peach-themed Art Exhibition".
