About Xinjiang Tianshan Wildlife Park
Xinjiang Tianshan Wildlife Park, also known as the Bogda South Slope Wildlife Park, is located in Team 2 of the former Tianshan Pasture in Daban City. It borders Ulapo Pasture to the east, extends to Baiyanggou Village to the west, is approximately 1 kilometer from the Tuyu–Urumqi Expressway to the south, and is 40 kilometers from the center of Urumqi. To the north, it borders Liu Mu Lake, covering an area of 75 square kilometers. Construction began on May 18, 2004, and the park officially opened on September 20, 2005. It is part of the planned Bogda South Slope Nature Reserve and is currently operated by Xinjiang Tianshan Wildlife Park Co., Ltd. The company was established on May 17, 2004, with Zhou Guangtian serving as its legal representative. Its registered capital amounts to 36 million yuan, and it is majority-owned by Urumqi Transportation & Tourism Investment (Group) Co., Ltd.
