About Urumqi Cultural Center
The Urumqi Cultural Center is a key public cultural venue in Urumqi, China, located in the Convention and Exhibition Center area of Shuimogou District. The architectural complex takes the snow lotus of the Tianshan Mountains as its design prototype, with six major venues—namely the Grand Theater, the Concert Hall, the Planning Pavilion, the Museum, the Exhibition Hall, and the Cultural Center—arranged around the central Cultural Tower in a “six venues, one heart” layout, symbolizing ethnic unity and prosperity. As of October 2024, the center had hosted a total of 49 performances, attracting over 300,000 visitors, with the Grand Theater and the Concert Hall serving as the primary venues for performance activities.
