About Yan'er's Nest Scenic Area
Urumqi Yan'erwo Scenic Area is located at No. 811 Yan'erwo Road, Tianshan District, southern suburbs of Urumqi. It starts from the east of Yan'erwo Road in the east, to the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway in the west, from the quarry railway in the south to the intersection of Yan'erwo gas station in the north, covering an area of about 350 hectares. This scenic spot is the only natural scenic forest in Urumqi. It is 5 kilometers long from north to south and 2 kilometers wide from east to west. The core vegetation is mainly white elm, with century-old trees accounting for 40%. It is also matched with shrubs such as poplar, willow and wild rose. It has the ecological function of regulating local climate, preventing wind and fixing sand.
