About Gucun Park
Gucun Park is located at No. 4788 Huta Road, Gucun Town, Baoshan District, Shanghai. It stretches from Huta Road in the east to Chen Guang Road in the west, borders Jingbo Lake Road to the north, and adjoins the Outer Ring Expressway to the south; it covers a total area of 430 hectares, with Phase I covering 180 hectares and Phase II covering 244.7 hectares. Construction on Phase I of Gucun Park began in August 2007, and construction on Phase II commenced on October 22, 2012. The park’s design philosophy is “people-oriented and culturally rich,” with an emphasis on ecological leisure and recreation. It integrates ecological protection, scenic viewing, leisure and fitness, cultural entertainment, and tourism & vacation functions, creating complementary features with traditional urban parks. The park is divided into two phases, with the central river serving as the boundary.
