About Lighthouse Pasture Youth Culture Tourism Village
The former site of the Lighthouse Pasture Youth Camp is a historical relic dating back to the era when knowledge youth were sent to the countryside in Zhaosu County, Qarqin Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. Based on this site, Xinjiang’s first exhibition hall themed around the “Knowledge Youth Sending to the Countryside” movement in the 1970s has been developed—namely, the Zhaosu Lighthouse Youth Camp Museum (also known as the Zhaosu Lighthouse Pasture Youth Camp Museum). The former site of the Lighthouse Pasture Youth Camp is designated as a cultural relic protection unit of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and as a revolutionary cultural relic of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The Zhaosu Lighthouse Youth Camp Museum is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a distinctive museum of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
