The Yueyangshan Scenic Area is located in Yangshuo County, Guilin City, Guangxi Province, with Yueyangshan Mountain—whose summit features a vast cave that runs through it, resembling a full moon—serving as its core attraction. Yueyangshan stands over 380 meters tall, with the lunar cave at its peak measuring approximately 50 meters in both height and width, and it is home to stunning stalactite formations. The scenic area stretches along the Ten-Mile Gallery, featuring attractions such as the Great Banyan Tree, Julongtan Pool, Butterfly Spring, and Jian Shan Temple, and is known for its natural rock climbing activities. The scenic area management committee was established in 1999, and it is classified as an AAA-level attraction, open from 07:00 to 18:30 on most days.
