About Gansu Tianqing Museum
The Gansu Tianqing Museum is a non-profit private museum located on the second floor of No. 1599 Yanbei Road, Chengguan District, Lanzhou City. It was invested and constructed by the Tianqing Group and officially opened to the public on September 20, 2018. The museum houses nearly 10,000 art pieces, covering four major categories: scrolls, artifacts, letters from famous figures, and books. Its prized possession is Zhao Mengfu’s running script of “Heart Sutra on the Perfection of Wisdom” (acquired in 2017 for 190.9 million yuan). The museum covers an area of over 10,000 square meters and features four exhibition floors, as well as supporting facilities such as a cultural exchange center.
