About Lanzhou Wildlife Park Scenic Area
Lanzhou Wildlife Park, formerly the Lanzhou Zoo, is located in Zhonghe Town, Anning District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It covers an area of 5,358 mu and has a total construction area of approximately 800,000 square meters, opening for trial operations on September 26, 2021. Lanzhou Wildlife Park is listed as a major construction project in Gansu Province and comprises an entrance area, a pedestrian viewing area, a vehicle-viewing area, and a logistics service area. It is a large-scale natural ecological park that integrates tourism and leisure, animal conservation and rescue, and wild animal domestication and breeding. On April 25, 2024, four giant pandas—Hongxi, Manlan, Jiabao, and Manman—from the China Giant Panda Conservation Research Center officially made their debut at Lanzhou Wildlife Park.
