About Gansu Science and Technology Museum
The Gansu Science and Technology Museum is located at No. 568 Yin’an Road, Anning District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It covers an area of 56.57 mu, with a building area of 50,075 square meters, comprising five floors above ground and one floor below ground. It is a public-interest infrastructure project invested in and developed by the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, and it is the largest-scale, most fully equipped large-scale comprehensive science popularization project in Gansu Province. In March 2022, it was designated as one of the first National Science Popularization Education Bases for the period 2021–2025. The current director of the museum is Zhao Jinhui. Formerly known as the Lanzhou Science Palace, which was established in the 1980s, the Gansu Science and Technology Museum was renamed the Gansu Science and Technology Museum in 2005.
