About Xishan Island 2
The Xishan Scenic Area in Suzhou (English name: Xishan Island), also known as Yuzhi Mountain, Xidongting, Linwu Mountain, or Dongting Xishan, is located at No. 23 Daqiao Road, Jinting Town, Jinshan District, Taihu National Tourism Resort, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Built around Xishan Island, the Xishan Scenic Area is a mountainous ancient town-style scenic area characterized by lake-island scenery and rural mountain villages. The Xishan Scenic Area in Suzhou stretches 11 kilometers from north to south and 15 kilometers from east to west, with a winding and meandering shoreline that extends over 50 kilometers. More than 80% of the island is mountainous, surrounded by numerous small islands scattered throughout, creating a unique archipelago-like landscape.
