About BingGou DanXia Landform
Binggou Danxia is located in Kangle Township, Sunan Yugur Autonomous County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction, covering a total area of 300 square kilometers, with a core visitor area of 120 square kilometers, divided into the Xiaoxitian Scenic Area and the Daxitian Scenic Area. The scenic area is 45 kilometers east of Zhangye’s urban center and 41 kilometers west of Sunan County seat, situated at an elevation between 1,500 and 2,550 meters above sea level. It features a continental climate. Opening hours are from 06:30 to 18:30, and the admission fee is 40 yuan. This scenic area is an important component of the Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park, showcasing one of the most typical danxia landforms found in China’s arid regions.
