About China Red Sandalwood Museum
The Chinese Red Sandalwood Museum is located at No. 23 Jianguo Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, on the north side of Gaobeidian on Jingtong Expressway. It is a replica of the Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings, covering an area of 25,000 square meters, with a main building area of 9,569 square meters. It is affiliated to Hong Kong Fu Wah International Group and has a Zhuhai Hengqin branch. The museum is China's first thematic private museum that collects, studies, displays and appreciates red sandalwood art and appreciates traditional classical furniture. It opened in September 1999 and was invested and built by Ms. Chen Lihua. As of the end of 2019, the collection has 300 pieces/set, held 13 exhibitions and 17 educational activities, and received 80,000 visitors annually. The main building of the museum adopts the polished brick butt joint technology.
