About Wild Elephant Valley
Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Valley Scenic Area is located on the Sancha River in Mengyang Town, about 47 kilometers north of Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is located in the Mengyangzi Reserve of Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve, with a total area of about 370 hectares, a construction area of more than 2,800 square meters, and a water area of 8,000 square meters. This scenic spot is a comprehensive eco-tourism scenic spot integrating eco-tourism, popular science education, and leisure vacation. The Wild Elephant Valley Scenic Area in Xishuangbanna is a landform of low mountains, shallow hills and wide valleys, with an altitude of 747 to 1055 meters. There are crisscrossing ditches and rivers in the area.
