About Haotian Pagoda
Liangxiang Duobao Pagoda, commonly known as Liangxiang Pagoda, also known as Haotian Pagoda, is located on the Liaoshi Gang (in Haotian Park) near Dongguan Village, Gongchen Street, Fangshan District, Beijing (formerly Liangxiang area). The pagoda was rebuilt in the fourth year of Xianyong in the Liao Dynasty (1068). Liangxiang Duobao Pagoda faces south. The body of the pagoda is octagonal in plan, about 36 meters high, and has a five-level hollow pavilion style. There is an arched door opening on the south, east, north and west sides of each floor of the pavilion, and the other four sides are carved with straight-edge false windows in the style of the Liao Dynasty. There is a brick staircase inside the tower that can be spiraled up to the top of the tower. Below the pagoda is a Xumizuo. There are eight large brick lotus petals placed on the Xumizuo.
